• RKI, Inc. is seeking a mechanical drafter/designer/cad operator with a high standard for quality of work and a professional work ethic.
  
• Solid Works proficiency with a minimum of 3 years experience is required. Driveworks and PDMWorks experience a plus.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude with sheet metal design experience considered a plus.
  
• Must have ability to work in collaboration with others and be highly organized.
  
• Position requires exacting attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Must be able to work to deadline, in a congenial supportive environment, with minimal supervision.

Job Description:

• Support daily manufacturing operations and engineering projects by creating and revising drawings and related support documentation including 3D models, final assembly drawings, sub assemblies, sheet metal layout drawings and accurate bills of material. Detailed drawings to include all views and dimensions necessary for manufacture.
  
• Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, materials and material bend tolerances to complete drawings.
  
• Assist in maintaining product documentation including sales and production drawings, bills of material, as well as installation and maintenance manuals for manufactured products.
